What I do

My focus is on the gap between visualization and realization. to pull all of the information together and translate that into a well-crafted plan; thought out, easy to understand and easy to navigate. Once the Craftspeople hit the field, there will be nothing left to do but to do it...

 When I was a kid, I built models; Planes, boats, cars, you name it. That moved into building bigger things like forts and treehouses. Drawing was another love of mine which has its roots in my childhood.  Now I'm making models of a digital kind. Same passion, same kid... You might say it's in the blood.

in 1980 I began my career as a Woodworker/Cabinetmaker and Finish Carpenter. For more than 30 years I had the privilege of doing my part on some extraordinary homes in Beverly Hills, Malibu, Aspen and now in my true home, the Bay Area. I learned a great deal, working in tandem with some extremely talented Architects, designers, builders and other tradespeople. 

In 2003 under the leadership of Tim Elias, founder of Acapella Construction I learned something even more vital; how to properly communicate with the client and deliver what you promise. At the same time giving due respect to the craftspeople who bring ideas into the material world.
